The body weights at 0, 2 and 4 weeks of age were significantly (P<0.05) highest in BNR (40.41, 134.91 and 302.67 g) followed by BN, RNR, RN and lowest in Mewari except the day-old body weight in RNR was significantly higher than the BN cross. The body weights at 8 and 20 weeks of age were significantly (P<0.05) highest in BN (788.18 and 2165.48 g) followed by BNR, RNR, RN and lowest in Mewari.
