The adoption of age and number of seedlings with growth regulator can significantly influence the growth and yield of transplanted rice under konkan region of maharashtra. A field experiment was conducted during the kharif seasons of 2018 at Agronomy Farm, College of Agriculture, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri (M.S.) during Kharif season of 2018. The research experiments were aimed to study the effect of age and number of seedlings with growth regulator on the performance of growth and yield of transplanted rice under konkan region. The present research was conducted using a split-split-plot design with three replications. The experimental results revealed that transplanting 20-day-old seedlings (A1) combined with 3 seedlings per hill (N1) and application of humic acid (H1), significantly enhanced number of panicle hill-1, length of panicle (cm), weight of grain panicle-1 (g), number of filled grains panicle-1, test weight (g), grain and straw yield (q ha-1) in transplanted rice.
