A field experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2022-23 at Agricultural Research Farm, Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, R.B.S. College, Bichpuri, Agra, (U.P.). The investigation entitled “Study of genetic variability and character association in Indian mustard (Brassica juncea (L.) Czern & Coss). The variables involves in this study was 30 genotypes of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L.). Thus in all Thirty (30) Genotypes treatment combinations were compared in a Randomized Block Design with three replications. The results revealed that the significant genetic variability was observed among the genotypes for all studied traits. Heritability ranged from moderate to high, and genetic advance indicated substantial additive genetic variance. These findings provide essential insights for enhancing yield and associated traits through effective selection in breeding programs.
