Abstract:

A 1.5-year-old male goat was presented to the Veterinary Clinical Complex, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna with signs of acute gastrointestinal distress, neurological abnormalities, and dehydration. History and clinical findings suggested accidental ingestion of an unknown toxin while grazing. Prompt stabilization, detoxification, and symptomatic therapy resulted in complete recovery within 48 hours. This case highlights the importance of early recognition and aggressive supportive care in suspected poisoning in small ruminants.
