Whereas Rolled paper towel method recorded lowest association of fungi. Thirteen fungicides were tested for their efficacy in vitro by poison food technique at different conc. 0.1%, 0.2% and 0.3%. Among all treatments evaluated against pathogenic fungi Alternaria alternata fungicides tested Propiconazole 13.9% + Difenoconazole 13.9% EC, Tebuconazole 50% + Trifloxystrobin 25% WG, Propineb 70% WP and Benalaxyl -M 4+ Mancozeb 65% WP showed 100% growth inhibition of Alternaria alternata.
