A field experiment was conducted during 2025-26 at the Student Instruction Farm, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, to evaluate the effect of integrated nutrient management (INM) on soil fertility, growth, yield, and quality of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea (L.) Czern), cv. Varuna. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design with eight treatments and three replications. Soil organic carbon, available N, P, and K were significantly maximum under T8 (100% RDF + 25% N through FYM + Azotobacter + PSB). T8 recorded the highest seed yield (27.73 q ha-1), representing a 143% increase over control. T8 was statistically at par with T6 (75% RDF + 25% N through FYM + Azotobacter + PSB) for most yield parameters. Maximum test weight (5.47 g) was recorded under T4 (75% RDF + 25% N through vermicompost). Seed protein content was highest under T8 (23.08%). Based on one-year experimental results, T8 appeared most promising for sustainable mustard productivity; however, multi-season evaluation is required before wider recommendation.
