International Journal of Agriculture and Food Science adopts the Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) 4.0 License policy.

What This Licence Means for Readers

Articles published in the International Journal of Agriculture and Food Science are open access and licensed for reuse. Under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence shown above, anyone may:

  • Read and download the full text of any published research paper free of charge
  • Copy and redistribute the article in any medium or format
  • Print copies for personal study, teaching or classroom use
  • Adapt, translate and build upon the material for non-commercial purposes

The one condition is attribution: you must credit the original authors and this journal, and indicate whether any changes were made. Reuse for a commercial purpose is not covered by the licence and requires prior written permission from the journal.

Copyright Remains With the Authors

Authors publishing here keep the copyright of their own work. The journal does not require a transfer of copyright to the publisher. What the licence grants is permission for readers to reuse the article — it does not take ownership away from the author.

This also means authors are free to reuse their own published paper: in a thesis, in a later book chapter, in teaching material or on a personal website, without asking the journal for permission.

How to Cite and Attribute an Article

A correct attribution names the authors, the article title, the journal name with its volume, issue and year, and the DOI. Every published article carries a Crossref DOI (prefix 10.33545/2664844X) and the full citation is printed on each article’s page, so it can be copied directly.
